HDLN Community Plant-out

Our community planting days will be on a Friday and Saturday at Grass Flat* this year, as part of our "Little Desert Biolinks for Threatened Species" project. We need your help to get native plants in the ground!

One of the species we are planting is the Creeping Boobialla, relied upon by the endangered Golden-rayed Blue Butterfly endemic to the salt lakes of the Wimmera. Help us restore biodiversity and improve habitat connectivity in the Wimmera!

Bring your friends, family, gloves, and get your hands dirty for a great cause. Whether you're a green thumb or just keen to connect with nature, everyone is welcome! Come for both days or one.

Lunch, morning and afternoon tea provided. Please bring your own gloves, water bottle and wear weather-appropriate clothing including sun protection and wet-weather gear.

Accommodation is not provided - there is cheap camping nearby at Mount Arapiles-Tooan State Park and other accommodation options in the nearby towns of Natimuk and Horsham.
