HDLN Community Plant-out

Huge thank you to everyone who helped at our plant-out at Grass Flat in July 2026!

Collectively, we planted 2700 native trees, shrubs and groundcover, including 300 Creeping Boobialla (Myoporum parvifolium) for the endangered Golden-rayed Blue Butterfly. Attendees learnt about the ecology of these species and conservation efforts to create habitat with Jessie from Zoos Vic.  These plants will provide habitat in the years, decades and centuries to come, restoring biodiversity to the landscape.

Special thanks to landholders Chris and Annette for welcoming us onto their property, Mirinda and Iestyn for managing the plants, Jessie and the team at Zoos Vic for their support and providing the Myoporum.
