HORSHAM URBAN LANDCARE GROUP

Horsham Urban Landcare has a strong focus on sustainability and self-sufficiency. We have 3 regular monthly events and then plan extra activities throughout the year. We have a dedicated committee that organise and man our events and an engaged community who are keen to learn and share with each other.

Our regular events are:

  • Boomerang Bags Working Bees, 2nd Wednesday of each month 1-3pm at the Senior Citizens Centre
  • Produce Swap, 3rd Saturday* of each month from 10am at The Patch Community Garden
  • Sat 20th September 10-11am followed by workshops (see below)
  • *October Produce Swap will be a combined event with Repair Cafe at Horsham Neighbourhood House, 2-3pm Sat 25th Oct.
  • Repair Café, 4th Saturday of each month 2-5pm at Horsham Neighbourhood House


Special events coming up:

  • Saturday 20th September - Veggie Growing and Nestbox Making workshops:
  • 11am-1pm Veggie Growing Workshop - learn how to grow your own organic veggies with Ant Mair from Quamby Farm
  • 1-2pm Lunch (included with either workshop ticket)
  • 2-4pm Nestbox Making Workshop (family-friendly) - make a nestbox for antechinus or small parrots and make one to donate to Little Desert bushfire recovery
  • Bookings via Humanitix essential: Veggie Growing and Nestbox Making Workshops
