HORSHAM
Youth Nature Crew
Youth Nature Crew is a nature and outdoors group for young people aged 10-18. Youth Nature Crew started in 2024 and is delivered by Horsham District Landcare Network in partnership with the Horsham Rural City Council Youth team and Wimmera CMA. We generally meet once a month after school and sometimes for an excursion over school holidays.
The next activity will be on Thursday 10 July, 2-3pm at The Station, Pynsent St Horsham, during school holidays. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about sugar gliders and wildlife corridors, and even meet a couple of these cute creatures with Fair Dinkum Fauna!
Previously, activities have included bird watching, nest-box making, insect identification, veggie gardening, "Clean Up Australia Day" and a bushwalking excursion to Grampians (Gariwerd) National Park in the winter 2024 school holidays.
